The injustice hits like a punch to the gut when the new corporate management decides to shut down the town’s cornerstone factory—the very lifeblood of a small village on the west coast. With the stroke of a pen, jobs, security, a sense of community, and the village’s very identity vanish.

The employees refuse to accept their future being decided in a spreadsheet far away, and the entire local community rallies to save the village and the lives they have built.
